Configuring 0845 Dialup - Windows 95 / 98

1. From the desktop, double click on the icon "My Computer", and then double click on the icon labelled "Dial Up Networking" There will be an icon here named "Make new connection", and there may also be icons for any other internet providers set up on your computer. We are making a new connection, so double click the icon labelled "Make new connection".
2. First, enter a name for the connection. For this example, we'll name it Proweb. Make sure that the correct modem is selected in the box, and click Next.
3. Enter the phone number 0844 057 0709. When you have done this, click Next to continue.
4. You should get a screen now saying that the connection is set. Click Finish to close the window, and return to the dial up networking screen.
5. Once you are at the dial up networking screen, double click the connection you have just created. Enter the username and password for your account, and make sure that you tick the box to save password.
6. You must make a connection to the internet using the account for it to save the settings.
