Configuring 0845 Dialup - Windows ME

1. Proweb 0845 Support for Windows Millenium Edition (ME)
2. Firstly, launch the Internet Setup Wizard, by going to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Internet Connection Wizard.
3. Now that the internet connection wizard has loaded, select the option to set up the connection manually, and click Next.
4. Select the option here to connect to the internet using a modem, and then click on Next.
5. On this screen, first of all, take the tick out of the box labelled "Dial using the area code and country code". Once you have done this, enter 0845 234 9800 into the Telephone Number box. When you have done this, click Next to continue.
6. On the next screen, you must enter the username and password in the boxes. The username and password would have been decided when you set the account up. When you have entered these, press Next.
7. Now we need to name the connection. We'll name it Proweb, and then click Next.
8. You will now be asked if you want to set up a mail account. Select No for this, as we'll be covering mail in another tutorial. Click Next to continue.
9. The setup is now complete. click Finish to save the settings and return to Windows. When you launch Internet Explorer, you will be prompted to dialup using this connection.
