What is a domain name?As with any new venture you need a name. A domain name can be your companies name, product or industry and is used in both your email and web site addresses to uniquely identify you.

Even if you are not planning to set up a web site yet, we strongly advise you register your domain name now to avoid somebody else taking the name you want!!

| Your chosen name must end with a suffix which identifies the country of registration. For example '.co.uk' is for UK registrations and '.com' is for US registrations but with the exception of some countries suffixes, there are no hard and fast rules regarding their use.
Additionally, any domain name is only as good as the internet marketing campaign behind it and in our vast experience, if you are a UK based company then certainly register your '.co.uk' domain and as a secondary choice, the '.com' equivalant .
